What is in-play betting?
In-play betting is when bets are placed whilst the race/market is in action, some people find that this enables you to get a much better price on your selection and also a better indicator of the result. Many betfair and betdaq markets allow in play betting.

This tells the GHB to bet in running only if your selection has not been matched before the market is suspended, you can also set the amount of seconds you wish the bot to wait  before betting in running. this is useful because odds can be particularity erratic in the first 20 - 30 seconds after suspension.

This Tells the GHB to bet only when the market goes in running. This should be used if you only wish to place bets in play or if you are using the SP feature.

This tells the GHB to stop trying to find a match after a defined number of seconds after market suspension.

Inplay tab FAQ

Q. If my bet is listed as unmatched by betfair before the off, can the bot hold this bet inplay?

A. No, the way that the go in running if not matched feature works is that if a bet is not able to be placed due to market conditions before the race begins  the GHB will continue to monitor and try to place a bet in running.

Q. Can I bet inplay on australian horse racing markets?

A. Betfair are beginning to allow in running betting on selected australian markets, you would need to refer to your betfair account to find out which of these are available.

Q. How do I get the bot to place my trading bets inplay?

A. Once you have selected "go in running if not matched" on the inplay tab, you also need to select "trade in play" on the trading tab

Q. When my bot places bets in running, I find that sometimes I do not get matched is there anything I can do to help this?

A. Yes,  As prices can move very fast when a race is in running selections can often move out of your range very quickly. Using the "widen odds" feature on the session tab can assist with this.
