This page explains what you will see in the transaction log screen and gives you details about its function See the video (opens in a new window) What is the transaction log? The transaction log stores a history of the GHBs activity when running. It takes information from the market activity , bets placed and settled and also will show error details should the bot encounter problems. This can be vital for monitoring your betting system results and is also a valuable diagnostics tool for our technical support team.  Opens up the transaction log window  This is what a typical log will look like, as you can see the market activity is displayed along with the bets placed. Here is a list of the most common entries and what they mean. 2009-07-09 13:29:51.2902 ---------------13:30 Newm --------------- This is the bot starting to monitor your chosen market 2009-07-09 13:44:50.7433 NumOfMatchedBets=1, NumOfSettledBets=1 This is the bot counting the number of matched and settled bets before apllying your options 2009-07-09 13:44:50.7433 L,Agony And Ecstasy,�0.53,4.10,TEST | This is the ghost bet that GHB places before going into the market with a live bet, this is placed just to ensure the bot can interface with the chosen market 2009-07-09 13:44:51.7433 L,Agony And Ecstasy,�0.53,4.10,OK | This is the live bet being placed into the market, GHB will then wait for betfair to find a match at the odds it has spotted. 2009-07-09 13:44:52.3683 bfService._GetMUBets called This is the bot calling to betfair to confirm if a bet is matched or unmatched 2009-07-09 13:44:52.4777 13:44, 13:45 Warw , Completed, Done This is the bot confirming that the bet has been placed 2009-07-09 14:06:51.7589 Inferred Winner : GBNewm 9th Jul14:00 6f Grp2, 3966427, Arcano This the bot logging the predicted winner of a race 2009-07-09 14:11:08.1495 100660031, S, 0, 6f Grp2, Orpen Grey, 0.53 This is the bet settlement |

Transaction log FAQQ. I have noticed in the latest version that there ais a lot more information in the transaction log, is any of this reative to me?A. The majority of the new information is to assist us in the technical support of any problems that may arise. the log now reports and responds to many of the diffeent API calls to betfair. Having this information can give vital clues as to the root of a problem. Q. Can I export transaction log data to excel? A. No, at the moment this is not possible however we are looking into adding this feature Q. I have had a problem with my bot and I need to send you the transaction log data, how can I do this? A. The best way to do this is to go to the following location on your pc 1. My computer and select Local disk C 2. Open the grey horse bot folder that you had the problem with (ie grey horse bot 3.5 betfair UK) 3. Inside that folder is a folder called Data 4. Inside the data folder will be a list of dates, open the folder of the date that the problem occurred 5. attach the transactions.log file to your helpdesk query (c)Bluebell Data ,Registered Office: 29 Bath Rd, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN1 4AS. |
