Creating profitable rating systems.

When I am creating a betting system I am always on the look out for information that is tangible and I suppose (and this is going to sound a little strange) based in reality.

Ok…Let me try to explain it a bit better.

When people talk about the “Going” or the state of the ground this to me is open to interpretation.

The reality is that "Soft" to one person may be "Good" to another (within reason).

Where as the weight of a horse has to be accurate because it is measured using a standard measurement.

And that is the type of data I like to use when creating ratings.

Generally you create ratings based on data that is measurable.

The real key to ratings is to find out (through testing) what score you assign to each variable and how many variables you use.

People tend to dismiss ratings out of hand especially the well known ones that are available from the Racing Post.

POSTDATA ratings consist of RPR (Racing Post Ratings), TS (Speed) and OR (official Ratings) and give you different views about the runner and its form.

Of course many people do take notice of these ratings and because of this the top rated horses tend to be of low value.

But how can you use these ratings?

Well through using my own ratings at Sporting Bots Labs ™ we have come up with a new way of testing not only the Racing Post ratings but others as well.

It is based around my articles about OPS (optimum profit strategy) .

We believe that ratings are paramount to finding profitable systems (lay or back) but there will also be a price range where they produce the most profit (if they are profitable).

Either in points or ROI (return on investment).

We have actually been proving this over the last month with the results from our bonus systems we are giving away to Grey Horse Bot owners.

One of my own rating systems has proved to be so profitable that in live testing in front of subscribers it has returned over 300 pts profit in less than 30 days.

Click Here to see the results.

That’s more than many systems produce over several years.

And this was purely because we have been able to set up a unique testing environment that allows us to record across multiple ratings at different prices.

Of course we wouldn’t be able to do this without the exchanges like Betfair.

Their prices are not only deemed to be accurate but also allow us to test on live prices without the fear of losing our account just because we are making a profit!

We have now embarked on a huge range of testing and are inviting professionals and amateur’s alike (who can prove to us that they have a reasonable ratings system) to test them through Sporting Bots Labs™.

We will of course also be testing some of the most popular ratings available to see how they perform in our testing environment.

I am really excited about this because members of the Grey Horse Bot will not only benefit from these tests (as they are at the moment with MR2 and Mal-lays) but have the chance first hand to benefit from any new data we find.

In fact our testing is already showing us that many successful rating systems have at least 3 different profitable price points.

One will give the best ROI, one will give the best profit from backs and one will give profit from Lays.

Anyway as they say “Watch this space...”

I can see some really interesting information coming from Sporting Bots Labs ™.

Thank you for reading I really appreciate it.

P.S. The bonus in Grey Horse Bot that has made over 300 points is MR2.
