A quick update on the “Double Your Bank in 90 days or less…”

I have just updated all the screen shots and the spread sheet, but there are a couple of things I want to mention quickly.
If you have been following the lay systems then you will know that it is not doing very well at the moment.
Basically we are losing a lot on the short priced selections.
To be honest it was never my intention to play about too much with settings after starting the test…
…But I think in this case something has to be looked at.
It is effecting staking to liability a lot more than it is fixed stake purely because we are losing 10 points every time, even when we lose at 1.32.
After reviewing not only these results but those from our other tests on this system I have decided to change the “min odds” to 8.00.
I am NOT going to change the results we have already recorded but from today the bot will be set from 8.00 to 999.
“Widen Odds” is set to 5.
We are only about 12 days into the 90 day test so I think it would be better to do it now because it shouldn’t make a great deal of difference to the test.
I could still be wrong about this and eventually lose out on a lot of profit but I am concerned about the pressure the low price losers are putting on the bank especially as we are running 3 systems on it.
I hope you don’t mind this change but I think it is worth doing in this case.
The second thing I wanted to mention was the back test results.
You may notice that although the bot is set from 8 to 12 we have still been matched at under 8.00 on a couple of occasions.
This is because of the “Widen Odds” feature which helps us get matched on selections whose prices are moving quickly.
In this case it has helped.
