Your about to find out about a really simple method for picking winning selection on the Betfair Place market.
But before you read on we just want to tell you that..
* There are no “pie in the sky” results or strange selection processes here.
* No weird staking plans.
* And it’s no it's not a lay system.
And we are going to show you actual prices achieved betting on the Betfair market 60 seconds before the off (We will be adding BSP prices shortly).
This is your chance to see how we have used the Befair Place market to make over 150 pts profit in the last 9 months.
And we have made it so, so simple...
If you have never used the Betfair Place market before then your in for a treat…
…But if you have then you will have a good idea of how difficult it is to make a profit.
You have probably heard of the traditional bookies “Each-Way” bet.
This is where the bookie will pay you if the horse you pick wins or is placed (normally if it comes in the top 3).
Generally the bookies give you ¼ (this is not always the same) of the SP odds if your runner places but doesn't win.
It’s a bet that is stacked heavily in the bookies favour.
Betfair decided to separate the two types of bets.
So you have what is termed as the “Win” market where you only win if the horse wins.
Or...
The Place market where you can win even if the horse doesn't.
Typically a race with 8 plus runners will pay out if your selection comes in the first 3.
Below 8 runners is normally if it places in the top 2.
In some races above 14 runners can payout to 4 places.
If there is a non runner in the race Betfair do not change the place rules.
So if you have selected a runner in a 8 runner race but there is a non runner (dropping the race to 7 runners) betfair will still payout to 3 places.
But they do use a reduction factor on the prices of the remaining runners to compensate for non runners…
That’s the technical stuff out of the way but to be honest you really don't have to concern yourself with it.
Our way is simple...
There is a small problem with the place market though.
To be honest it's the prices...they are just not that good.
In reality there are only two ways to make money with horse racing:
Choose your selections very carefully and only look for value.
OR
Win a lot so value doesn't matter.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to find value on the place market, so your only real chance is to...
Find a lot of winners.
OK is not easy but in some ways it is easier than picking just the "winner" as you normally have to do.
But you still have to come up with a very good process in order to find enough winners.
Especially enough winners to make a profit...
So here is how we did it...
To be honest it took two years to get where we are today.
We had been following a back system for a very long time.
But the system had very big ups and downs but luckily we we had kept enough information about each selection.
One day we decided to analyse the results and we got this inkling that they could do quite well on the place market
So we decided to test the theory.
And what we discovered was that we were actually on to something.
But there was more...
By carefully tightening the selection process we were able to crank up the profit.
To cut a very long story short...
On the 1st of August 2012 we started testing our new system on the live markets.
Now this is where we are always different...
Yes we could just record the price and the results and put them in a spreadsheet, but we like to actually place live bets on the markets.
This has started to give us an insight into how different systems perform against BSP or before the off betting.
It give's us a chance to see which one will yield he most profit.
So that's exactly where we are today.
And here is how the system has performed over the last 9 months.
The truth is...
Yes it does have losing streaks just like every system…but when it gets going it can add an extra 10 to 20 points to your bank in no time.
Think of it as a “banker” if you run it in the background as part of your betting arsenal then gradually you should see it adding more and more profit to your bank.
There are some things that are worth knowing about the system.
We think ROI could be improved by not betting on selections under 2.00 but you may lose a little profit as well.
So how do you get the selections?
Well I will come to that in a moment.
First I want to show you our new Grey Horse Bot - "Tipster Bot"
This is the beginning of our next generation range of bots...
Our goal is to greatly improve the Grey Horse Bot but we decided to start off very simple.
The new version is a very basic model that can back and lay.
