As you probably know I love experimenting and although I sometimes
show people the results from our tests...
...I don’t often reveal what we are testing or what I am most interested
in at the time.

So I decided to create my “Testing Journal”
The idea is to cover different subjects and show the tests we are
doing and what we have found while testing.
Some of these tests will be live, some will be based on past data
and others will be based on information I have found from other
sources and decided to test myself.
At the moment I am not sure how regular these emails will come out
but I will try for at least once a week.
The thing is to gauge how popular this idea is.
It’s no good sending these emails out to my various lists when many
people are not interested in experimenting at all, so I have
created a new list especially for it…
In the first issue (which you get after joining) I am taking a look
at favourites and how close we get to the proper BSP favourite
before the off.
Also in this experiment I am trying to find out how close we can
get to the BSP favourites price when the market goes in-play and we
find out exactly who the BSP favourite is.
Another thing may come out of this experiment is…
I already know that there is a difference sometimes in the before
the off favourite and the actual BSP favourite.
So the other question I am thinking about is…does it matter?
